After the bill was passed, a follower of Burtka asked him on Twitter, "So propose to your bf"
Burtka back, "I've already purposed, he said yes! Thank god!"
Burtka also "Neil and I have been wearing rings for years. We have been engaged for a while. It did not just happen."
Harris and Burtka are the proud parents of , Harper and Gideon. The babies were born in October 2010 via a surrogate.
