Donny Osmond, Marie Says "happier Than Ever," Denies Rumors Of Adoption

A quarter century after their marriage ended in divorce, from Marie Osmond and her first husband Stephen Craig a Taylor-Burton, saying, "I Do" for a second time, surprising fans and friends, but I learned, at least not close to her brother Donny.

"I knew they were back together, but had to keep the secret," Donny said by telephone Friday. "My sister is happier than ever and I'm happy for his son to prove it. It 'so nice to see him happy again."

And to answer to the National Enquirer claims that his 51-year-old sister is trying to have another son, Donny said: "No, he did not accept the child."

Donny admits that his sister has been through a lot lately. Your wedding date (04 May) was the birthday of the son of two, Michael and Mary Olive mother later afternoon. However, Donny said married life is not slow them down.

"We have signed six weeks to make the Flamingo in Las Vegas, and three years later we are still there," Donny says with a laugh, adding that he is as surprised as anyone else, the show was so successful monster.

He says that when they started, many brothers and sisters to put their money to ensure that everyone thought they were nuts. "They told us they were going to lose money, but we are stuck with our guns and made a splash."

They put everything in the show and now have the last laugh.

"Many artists have tricks or gimmicks, but when it comes down to it the quality of the music determines the time to work," Donny says, before admitting, "and I am the first to say that we did a lot of junk over the years. "

In addition to hit the stage, the singing duo has just released "Donny & Marie", their first studio album together in 30 years. Donny said he was not so easy to put together an album after such a long layoff.

"It 'difficult to work, and no longer," he said. "We both had separate careers for so long and we both wanted to go our own way. We started with over 200 songs and narrowed down. It would have been easy to put together a CD, and ride the wave, but in reality I It took a long time to save. "

Their secret to success and longevity in the notoriously fickle business? "Our faith kept us both at the ground. Kept us on a curve. We did not jump on the latest trend. "

Last week I talked with two young stars of the hit musical "The Book of Mormon," which offered an "open invitation" Donny and Marie to come and see the controversial, but the Tony nominated show. Donny tells me that probably switch to call and explain why he and Marie avoid controversial issues and not talk loudly of their political beliefs.

"We are not politicians," he says. "We have convictions and to vote in a certain way, but we are entertainers. We're trying to get people to like us. If you do politics you lose half your audience. I love what I do, but it is our business."
