2011 is a year for Henry Cavill! First, the actor 27 years, the British landed the role of the coveted Man of Steel in director Zack Snyder new reboot of the franchise superhero. And now he is engaged!The actress is engaged to Ellen Whitaker, 2012 Olympic hopes of the British team jumping, his representative confirmed for humans. Cavill has suggested during his recent trip to Hollywood.
"I could not believe it when he asked me to marry him," Whitaker told the Belfast Telegraph. "I thought we were there to celebrate his birthday. It 'was a surprise and I'm so happy."
Before proposing an English father, Whitaker said her daughter's hands - and it seems to say yes!
Cavill is best known for her role in Showtime's The Tudors'.
